David Riffel

Solution Consulting Director

David Riffel has more than 24 years of high-tech supply chain industry experience across functions including Manufacturing, Distribution, Logistics, Finance, IT, and Sales.

During his time at Hewlett-Packard, he managed and led various Supply Chain and  Logistics Operations groups, teams, and projects.  Many of his accomplishments were focused on business process re-engineering and the successful creation and implementation of automated tools and processes that improved results across all global regions.

Several of his larger projects included implementing:

  • High-volume international direct order fulfillment and shipping from HP’s 6 largest manufacturing partners in China
  • Global freight consolidation and labeling tools for Air, Ocean, Rail, and Surface modes
  • Outsourced regional distribution from multiple 3PL Distribution Centers in Asia and North America using a standardized collaboration toolset
  • An inbound materials regional logistics hub, global packaging, postponement, localization, distribution, and returns for 2 new HP products
  • A simulation-based Configure-to-Order manufacturing and fulfillment process

David is passionate about Globalization and Supply Chain Automation:
